John Medeiros Jewelry

John Medeiros introduced the John Medeiros Jewelry Collection in 2000 after working in the jewelry industry for decades. As a child of European immigrants trying to make a living in Providence, RI (once the international capital of costume jewelry production), Medeiros worked after school in the precious metals industry. Medeiros later founded Tahoe Jewelry in 1984 in order to provide the precious metals jewelry industry with stone setting and polishing services. After running this business during the day, Medeiros would work nights crafting his own jewelry creations which would later become the John Medeiros line: real jewelry hand-crafted from non-precious metals.

All John Medeiros jewelry comes with a lifelong guarantee and is handmade in the U.S. Each piece of jewelry’s base material is composed of a non-precious lead-free premium alloy with 0.02% silver, and an overlay/finish/plate of Rhodium and 14kt Gold. Rhodium has all the characteristics of platinum plus the extra benefits of being harder, lasting longer, and having a whiter tone. All stones are man-made Cubic Zirconium, indistinguishable to the eye by diamond experts. All earring posts are made of surgical steel.

All John Medeiros works are original designs and contain intricate hand carved detailing. The John Medeiros logo is proudly displayed on each piece.
