Description
This decorative tile draws from the iconic peacock motif found throughout Frank Lloyd Wright's Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, designed between 1912–1922. A symbol of elegance and resilience, the hotel famously withstood the 1923 Great Kanto earthquake. Though the original structure was later demolished, its main entrance and lobby were preserved at the Meiji-Mura Museum in Japan. The tile captures the spirit of Wright's lavish "Peacock Alley," celebrating his timeless architectural legacy.
